I am absolutely thrilled.  The 2 Pandas from China have arrived at the Toronto Zoo, in Ontario, Canada.  They will spend 5 years at the Toronto Zoo, then 5 years at the Calgary Zoo.  I just received my special invitation, as a member of the Toronto Zoo, to be one of the first to have the opportunity to see these amazing animals prior to the general public.  So, prepare to see Panda pics towards the end of May.

I AM SOOOOO EXCITED !!!!!

As another note, I recently dropped off some pictures I took of a fire in my town, to the local Fire Department for their enjoyment.  I received a phone call back from the Fire Chief saying that they all enjoyed the pics, and that he wanted to use one in a Fire Prevention Brochure they are planning to issue this year.  I was more than thrilled to give him the go-ahead.

PANDA FACT:  A single adult Panda must eat 20 to 40 pounds (9-18 kg) of food a day to survive, and spends about 15 hours a day feeding.
