Description

I had a request to make a birthday cake for a friend's 11 year old son. The popular video game nowadays is apparently Skylanders, and his son was especially a fan of the Eruptor character. (Lava monster) I had never made a structured cake before, so this was my first attempt. I used PVC pipe and sturdy wire to provide an internal framework. It was a mixture of chocolate and vanilla cake, with the arms and legs made out of rice krispies. His son absolutely loved it.

My little 6 year old Nephew would absolutely adore this cake. He absolutely loves Skylanders and I'm constantly stuck playing with him. Awesome job. <3
