Description
This baby raccoon is about 2 weeks old. His eyes are not yet open. The mother abandoned her babies who were subsequently found and turned over to a Wildlife Rehabilitator who happens to be a close friend of mine. At this age, the baby needs to be fed every 3 hours. He can't yet see or hear and is very wobbly on his legs.

Awww so very cute! - and fortunate they were found! It's hard to believe the mother would do that (although I know sometimes in nature this happens)...perhaps something happened to her.
